Tri-County Head Start assists families with obtaining health screenings for their children by providing onsite hearing clinics by the local health departments, onsite dental clinics by local dentists and onsite vision clinics by local optometrists. In addition, the agency participates in the VSP, Sight for Students Program which provides qualifying children with a vision exam and glasses. Transportation is available, as well, for medical, dental and special education (intermediate school district) appointments.

In addition, quality nutrition services are provided via a daily breakfast and snack, or lunch and snack. We incorporate a variety of diverse food experiences via our Children of the World program by providing a culturally diverse food selection and experience weekly.

Tri-County Head Start participates in CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program)
